British International Goalie Joins Devils

The Red Devils are pleased to announce the signing of 24-year-old 5’10” British netminder Adam Goss for the 2019 NZIHL season.

Goss’ career began with the Coventry Blaze academy whom he represented over 50 times at under-16’s and 18’s level. In 2014, he then made the bold move to North America in order to aid his hockey development whilst still being able to continue with his studies.

Signing up for the Mercyhurst University of the ACHA, Goss was to ice on 74 occasions over four years.

Adam has proudly represented Team Great Britain at four World Championships at under-18’s and 20’s level.

The past season Goss spent with the Milton Keynes Lightning of the Elite Ice Hockey League where he made 15 appearances as back-up to NHL-drafted Canadian goaltender Patrick Killeen.

Head Coach Anatoly Khorozov said of the signing, “Adam is young but very talented British goalie that has spent some time playing in North America improving his game. His coach last season spoke very highly of him and we believe he has a lot to offer to the team.”
