Team Spokesperson

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with great communication skills, energy, ideas and passion to join our friendly team and make a positive impact on a small ice hockey community.

This position would suit a journalism student seeking a new challenge and experience. Given the nature of our work, preference will be given to those who have a background in ice hockey and/or other sport.

This position is a voluntary unpaid position

Role:

A Team Spokesperson is responsible for the:

Serve as an official spokesperson on behalf of the team
Communicate with media on the team results/game reports
Facilitate marketing, networking and growing brand awareness
Write and edit game reports
Coordinate profiles and photographs for communications and external relations
Coordinate website publications
