Red Devils headed down south to Dunedin
May 13, 2013 - With the NZIHL regular season fast approaching, the Canterbury Red Devils headed down south to Dunedin for two pre-season clashes with the Thunder. Last season, the Thunder finished one point behind Canterbury and narrowly missed out on a finals berth.
A Demon becomes a Devil
May 2, 2013 – Rounding out the defensive corps for the Red Devils is Terry Watt. Born in Canada but currently plying his trade in the United States, Terry is finishing off his season with the Dayton Demonz in the Federal Hockey League.
Smirnov will not be able to join the Canterbury Red Devils
May 2, 2013 - We are sad to announce that Russian forward Nikita Smirnov will not be able to join the Canterbury Red Devils for the 2013 season. During his playoff run in Kazakhstan, Nikita suffered a knee injury which requires surgery and months of recovery. We wish Nikita all the best and hope he returns to full playing health shortly.
